Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BikeSlot platform ("BikeSlot", "we", "us"), a software service that helps independent bike mechanics and bike workshops manage online bookings, customers, and staff. By creating an account or otherwise using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. Who you are contracting with

The service is provided by BikeSlot (the "Seller"). You enter into this agreement directly with BikeSlot. By using the service you confirm that you have the authority to bind your business and that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. Acceptance

By signing up, accessing, or continuing to use BikeSlot you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies referenced here, including our Privacy Notice and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. The service

BikeSlot provides a hosted booking platform, customer management tools, a public booking page for your business, and (on the Workshop plan) staff accounts. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your active subscription, within the limits of your selected plan.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you agree not to:

  • use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • send spam or unsolicited communications through the service;
  • infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including by introducing malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or attempting to gain unauthorised access;
  • resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the service outside its intended use;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the service.

5. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Your content and customers' data

You retain ownership of the bookings, customer details, and other content you upload to BikeSlot ("Your Content"). You grant BikeSlot a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store the customer data you enter into BikeSlot.

7. Intellectual property

BikeSlot, including its software, design, documentation and branding, is and remains the property of the Seller and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you other than the limited right of use described above.

8. Payment, subscriptions and billing

Plan pricing, billing frequency, and free trial details are shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Taxes may apply depending on your location.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Stripe. Stripe is the our payment processor. Stripe provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. The mechanics of payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Stripe's Checkout Buyer Terms and our own Refund Policy.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if:

  • you materially breach these Terms and (where the breach is curable) do not cure it within a reasonable period;
  • your subscription payment fails and remains unpaid;
  • we reasonably believe the account presents a security or fraud risk;
  • you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app or via Stripe. When access ends we will provide a reasonable window for you to export your data before it is deleted.

10. Service availability

We work hard to keep BikeSlot reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security incidents. The service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose).

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify BikeSlot against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to the service or Terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Seller is established, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
